The best lens for flat light is a high-VLT lens, which lets more light reach your eyes and boosts contrast. SunGod's High-Vis Blue (43% VLT) is our flat-light lens, built for cloud, fog, falling snow and whiteouts. Flat light happens when cloud cover removes shadows, so bumps, ruts and dips in the snow become hard to see. A high-VLT lens helps you read the terrain and ride with confidence. For mixed sun and cloud, a mid-range Pink or Purple lens (23% VLT) keeps definition as the light changes. Learn how VLT works.
Ski Goggles FAQs
Ski Goggles for Every Condition
SunGod ski goggles are built for every condition on the mountain, from bluebird powder days to low-light whiteouts. Every lens swaps out in under 20 seconds, so you can match your lens tint to the light.
Flat light and low light: Orange fire, rose pink or blue lenses boost contrast, so you can read bumps, ruts and changes in terrain when visibility drops.
Bright, sunny days: Smoke, gray, black or purple lenses cut glare off the snow on clear, bluebird days.
Changing conditions: Photochromic ski goggles automatically lighten or darken as the light changes.
Every lens lists its visible light transmission (VLT): the percentage of light that reaches your eyes. Choose a higher VLT for flat light and a lower VLT for bright sun.

How to Choose the Best Ski Goggles
All SunGod ski goggles have a unisex fit and are OTG (over-the-glasses) compatible, so you can wear them over prescription glasses. Choose your model based on face size.
Best for medium to large faces: Vanguards™. An oversized cylindrical lens for maximum visibility. Cylindrical lenses curve side to side but stay flat top to bottom. Measures 105mm (H) × 180mm (W), about 4.1 × 7.1 inches.
Best for small to medium faces: Snipers™. A smaller snow goggle with a spherical lens and extra venting. Spherical lenses curve in both directions, like your eye, for a wider, more natural field of view. Measures 101mm (H) × 177mm (W), about 4.0 × 7.0 inches.
